Rock the Castle

13th July 2024 - 14th July 2024 | approx. 10 miles away

Back for its 5th year, Rock the Castle is part of the upcoming Flint Festival. Created to help raise money for local charities, this event is a weekend long gig showcasing local performers, perfect for families. On-site you will find a fully stocked bar, so you can grab your favourite beverage. There are also food vendors available, but you can bring your own picnic if you wish!

Denbigh & Flint Show

15th August 2024 | approx. 3 miles away

The Denbigh and Flint Show is the largest one day agricultural show in the area. Expect competitions, trade & food stands, and the chance to meet some animals.This is perfect for a day trip out during your stay with us. 

Rock The Lake

Sealife Aquarium

Whether it’s just window shopping, or you’re searching for an outfit for an upcoming event, Cheshire Oaks is filled with the biggest brands, at discounted prices. There are also a wide range of restaurants to choose from! 

If you’d like a break from shopping, Cheshire Oaks has a range of activities to enjoy with the whole family. These include a Tenpin bowling alley, freedome trampoline centre and an indoor golf adventure course - perfect for all the family to enjoy together.

Ice Skating

Deeside Leisure Centre | approx. 14 miles away

This may be on the chillier side, but there is also an ice skating rink in Deeside, home of North Wales ice skating. Here, you can enjoy public skating, lessons, skate hires and discos. Plus, this rink is the size of an Olympic Ice Pad. 

Outdoor Adventure

As you may already know, North Wales is home to the beautiful landscapes of Snowdonia, and Snowdon itself, now known as Eryri. So, if you’re looking to take in the areas of outstanding natural beauty, there are plenty of local walks in North Wales to choose from.
