With excellent road links, our cottages are in the perfect location to enjoy the popular countryside and coast of North Wales and Cheshire. The tourist towns of Llandudno, Conwy, Llangollen, and Chester are very accessible and can be reach within 30-45 minutes drive.
Liverpool, Manchester, Anglesey and Snowdonia National Park are only 1 hour away.
Shopping
The very popular, Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Village (With many dog friendly shops) is only a 30 minute drive away, with many well known branded shops, go and grab yourself a bargain! Chester is well worth a visit and is only 25 minutes away. Liverpool One and Manchester Trafford Centre can be reached in under an hour.

Museums
Welsh Mountain Zoo
A great family day out in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. This conservation zoo has a wide range of rare and endangered animals from around the world. A zoo with lots of character and in a beautiful location. Very close to the beaches of Colwyn Bay and Rhos on Sea too.
Chester Zoo
Gwrych Castle is a Grade I listed country house in North Wales. Situated just outside Abergele, Gwrych Castle is approx 30 mins from The Old Mill Cottages. The Castle has a fascinating history and has a committed Preservation Trust to preserve it's history and architectural importance. Made famous more recently as the location for 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!'.
A great selection of museums within 1/2 hour of the cottages. We recommend:

One not to miss! Chester Zoo, is the UK's number 1 wildlife attraction, with 1.4 million visitor every year. Chester Zoo is involved in many conservation projects both here in the UK and abroad. It is home to 12,000 animals in an 110 acre award winning zoological gardens and unbelievably it's getting bigger still.
How To Find Us
The Old Mill Holiday Cottages are conveniently located on the A541 between Mold and Denbigh in North Wales. The holiday cottages are 10mins from the A55 - westbound lies the beautiful Anglesey whilst eastbound links onto the M56 motorway.

The Old Mill offers a range of Four Star self-catering accommodation set in picturesque landscaped gardens that guests have full access to. All fully restored with a mix of old and new to retain the Old Mill charm and character. Each cottage is light and airy with dedicated off road parking. There is easy access to the extensive landscaped gardens with a footpath area for dog walking, lovely seating areas perfect for picnics and lovely views.
