Is There a Minimum Stay?

Yes - We have a minimum x3 Night stay for the cottages - The Long Barn, The Hayloft & Millers Cottage

The Roost, Double bedroom en-suite - x2 night minimum

What are Your Check-in Days?

Our usual check in day is either a Monday or Friday

Do You Provide Towels?

x1 large and x1 small is provided for each guest at check-in.  For long stays these will be changed weekly.

What are Your Check-in and Check-out Times?

Due to addition COVID cleaning and safety protacol Check-in is from 5pm and Check-Out is a 10am.  Please let me know if you have any special requests and we'll do our best to accommodateIf you would prefer flexibility your arrival time, or if you plan to arrive late, we do have convenient key safes.

How Can I Check Rates & Availability?

1. Click on the 'Green Check Availability' button

2. Select your dates on the calendar and the tariff will be shown

3. To proceed with a booking, select your cottage

4. Enter your name, address and card payment details when prompted

5. You will receive an email confirmation once the transaction has been completed

Do You Welcome Dogs?

We are dog friendly and have our own dog.  We welcome well behaved dogs in:

Millers Cottage - x2 S/M dogs are welcome.

The Long Barn x2 dogs (Any size) are welcome.

We charge a small fee of £15 per stay per dog.

 

We respectfully ask that dogs are kept on a lead within the grounds and footpath areas.

We can provide a dog bed, but for the comfort of all guests, please do not allow your dogs to sit on the furniture or beds.  If they are used to doing that at home, please bring your own throws - thanks

 

Do you Offer Group Bookings?

We can accommodate small family gatherings of up to 10 people.  No parties please.

As an intimate wedding venue, we request that you hire all of the accommodation for

exclusive use for your guests.  We require a £200 damage deposit, which is fully

refundable on satisfactory check out.

Security Deposits

The majority of our guests stay for one week.  For longer stays we ask for a security deposit of £200, fully refundable on satisfactory check out.

​

Do You Have a Laundry?

We do not have a laundry on site, however, we can offer a laundry service.  We have a laundry collection twice a week, that picks up on a Tuesday and returns on a Friday, and vice versa.  The charge is £17.50 per black bag.

What do the Cottages include?

All Cottages include: 

​

  • Smoke free accommodation

  • Free WiFi access 

  • Off road parking for x1 car 

  • Dishwasher 

  • Large communal landscaped grounds and seating areas 

  

Amenities: 

​

  • Bed linen & towels incl. in rent (x1 Large x1 small towel per guest) 

  • Starter pack provided (consisting of toilet roll, toiletries, tea, coffee, milk, washing up liquid & dishwasher tablets). 

  • Kitchen appliances including, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, cooker & ceramic hob 

  • Plus, all of the home from home essentials you would expect, including - ironing board, iron, hair dryer and cafetiere's in the kitchen! 

  • LCD TV (Freeview) in lounge with DVD player 

  • LCD TV in bedroom (Freeview) 

  • Wi-Fi (Not suitable for streaming) 

  • Bluetooth music speaker 

  • Shop 3 miles

  • Pub/restaurant next door

Note:

  • Unfenced mill stream and leate on grounds, plus terraced gardens with drops, young children to be supervised

  • Close to main road, so some road noise may be heard.

​

Access Statement:

  • The car park for the cottages is gravel therefore the surface is uneven.  From the car park there are 3 steps down to a flat flag stone footpath which leads to all of the accommodation.  Alternatively there is also a slope, if you prefer not to use the steps (Please note this is also gravelled).

  • The Hayloft & The Roost are both first floor accommodation, accessed via a small flight of steps.

  • Millers Cottage and The Long Barn are ground floor accommodation (With one step at the front door).
