Llandudno

Benefiting from a beautiful promenade flanked by impressive Victorian and Edwardian architecture, Llandudno is a year round popular seaside resort. With two award winning beaches, complete with donkey rides and 'Punch and Judy' shows in the summer, and a traditional pier it has many things to occupy a visitor. Head to the Great Orme for beautiful walks and fantastic scenery, take a cable car or try the tramline which will take you to the summit.  Explore the Copper mines, enjoy a day shopping or watch a show at 'Venue Cymru' theatre.

Famed as being one of the prettiest cities in Europe, Chester is bursting with history. It was founded by the Romans over 2000 years ago, and has the most complete city walls in Britain. A unique feature of Chester are it's half timbered medieval buildings and two tiered rows, perfect for shopping in any weather! It's a bustling city, great for a day out shopping, taking a cruise on the river Dee or enjoying a meal or drinks in one of the city's many bars and restaurants.

Liverpool

Head to Liverpool One for fantastic shopping opportunities or visit the cavern club and soak up the ambience of live bands and history of the Beatles. Explore the Albert Dock for restaurants, and a wide selection of 'Free entry' museums and galleries including the Tate gallery.

Conwy

The beautiful harbour and walled town of Conwy is well worth a visit.  The approach into the town towards the imposing castle, is stunning and never fails to impress.

There is a lovely range of boutique shops, small art and craft galleries, and a good range of cafes to relax in.  It's a great place to pick up a souvenir.  Or Enjoy fish and chips at the harbour-side.  You can also pay an entry fee to explore the castle itself - Fabulous views from the turrets!

Conwy

The picturesque town of Ruthin, is small but it has a big personality! 

It is well maintained and steeped in history, with many black and white Tudor buildings, including Nantclwyd House (National Trust) It also boasts a refurbished castle with gardens (Pictured above), where you can enjoy an afternoon tea watching the peacocks.  It has a fabulous selection of antique shops, and local artisan and craft shops.  Plus, there's a good craft with cafe at the bottom of town.

​It's common to hear Welsh spoken here as the first language.  There are also many Welsh souvenir's on offer.

Ruthin

Llangollen 

The drive to Llangollen via the horseshoe pass is spectacular! a great town and has plenty to offer for visitors. It has a good range of cafes, restaurants and gift shops.  It's famous for its horse drawn canal boat trips, steam train rides through the beautiful valley and for the more adventurous, there are a range of watersports on offer, kayaking, rafting..

Make sure you also visit Pontcysyllte Aquaduct, a UNESCO World heritage site famed for being the highest canal in the world.  You can walk over it on foot or take a short boat trip.
